According to TV 2 and Romerikes Blad, the transfer of Tobias Gulliksen to Lillestrøm will not happen after the winger changed his mind. Lillestrøm's sporting director, Espen Olsen, says the deal was completely agreed. Olsen said that Lillestrøm was informed that Gulliksen would instead travel to Turkey to sign for a club there. The sporting director stated that everything was agreed, including details, the contract, and a booked plane ticket. Gulliksen was supposed to come directly to Åråsen, with his agent driving him, and a medical test was scheduled. According to Olsen, only the medical test and signature were missing.

According to Sky Sport Austria, after Romerikes Blad, Tobias Gulliksen was set to join Lillestrom SK, with the loan contract already negotiated and a flight booked. However, Gulliksen decided against the move at a late stage.

Tobias Gulliksen is being loaned from Rapid to Norwegian top-flight club Lillestrøm SK. It is reported that no purchase option is included in the deal. Lillestrøm will take over the full salary of the 23-year-old Norwegian attacking midfielder. Gulliksen originally joined Rapid in 2025 from Djurgårdens IF for a record fee of 3.8 million euros. The Norway U21 international, who has 11 caps and 1 goal, is under contract with Rapid until June 2029. His Transfermarkt market value is currently €2.20m, a decrease from his €5.0 million valuation in August 2025.
