Tobe Leysen Transfer from OH Leuven to Burnley

1d ago

Burnley have shown an interest in OH Leuven's Belgian goalkeeper Tobe Leysen as the club looks for another option following Martin Dubravka's departure. OH Leuven are able to sell the 24-year-old, who has spent his entire career in Belgium, because he has only one year left on his contract and no new deal has been offered. A move for Leysen would make him Burnley's second goalkeeping addition of the summer, after they signed Ben Amos when his contract at Port Vale expired. The sale of Florentino Luis has given Burnley funds to spend, and manager Hayen should be familiar with Leysen from his time coaching in the Belgian league. Leysen joined his current club in August 2023 and has been capped once for Belgium's U21s. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €5.00m. Inter and Club Brugge have also been linked with the player.
