Valentino Livramento Transfer from Newcastle United to Manchester United

According to the Daily Briefing, Manchester United are set to join Manchester City in attempting to sign Newcastle United's Valentino Livramento. Manchester United have identified him as an improvement on Diogo Dalot, who is struggling under Ruben Amorim. Previous reports have suggested Livramento will cost between £70 million and £80 million.

Speaking to The United Stand, insider Ben Jacobs stated it is true that Manchester United have people who appreciate 23-year-old Tino Livramento for his versatility and because director of football Jason Wilcox knows him well. However, it was also stated that the matter has not gone further, and Jacobs revealed, citing sources, that Man City appear to be the most determined club in trying to sign Livramento in 2026. One of the first tasks for Newcastle's new sporting director is to get the full-back to sign a new contract, as his current one runs until 2028.
