French central midfielder Timothé Cognat, 28, explained after the victory against Luzern that he is aiming for a club change in the summer after eight years at Servette, despite having a contract until 2029. Cognat said it was not the right time to talk about it, but that he had spoken with officials about it that winter. He said that he had been there for eight years and thought it might be time to look for something new, adding that they had told him there might be a release clause.
