OH Leuven is reportedly competing with other Belgian clubs for RKC's Dutch striker Tim van der Leij. Westerlo and AA Gent are also interested in the 20-year-old. NAC Breda was interested in the player last winter. Van der Leij joined RKC in August 2025 and is under contract until mid-2028. He scored 17 goals in 35 matches for the Dutch second-division side this season. Although his market value is estimated at 350 thousand euros, RKC is not planning to sell him for a low price and reportedly aims for a fee significantly higher than the one and a half million euros recently received for Jordi Altena.
