Tim Spycher transfers from FC Basel to FC Thun in the Bernese Oberland. The 21-year-old Swiss goalkeeper signs a contract there until summer 2028 – with an option for another season. At FC Thun, Tim Spycher is planned as the number 2 behind Niklas Steffen. Sports director Dominik Albrecht said that with Tim Spycher, they were able to sign a very well-trained goalkeeper with potential and that despite his young age, he already brings valuable experience from the Challenge League. Spycher has two caps for the Switzerland U21 national team and joined FC Basel in July 2022. He made one appearance in the Promotion League in the 2025/2026 season and has a current market value of €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
