Hansa Rostock has extended the contract of 20-year-old German attacker Tim Krohn and immediately loaned him to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen until the summer of 2026. According to Hansa's Sporting Director, Amir Shapourzadeh, the contract extension indicates the club's trust in the player. He explained that regular match practice is now vital for Krohn's next developmental step. Shapourzadeh added that Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, a traditional club with ambitious goals in the Regionalliga West, had already shown great interest in Krohn in the summer and presented a good sporting plan for him, with the ultimate goal that both the player and Hansa Rostock will benefit from the loan. The forward has a current market value of €200k, according to Transfermarkt.
