Tiemoko Ouattara Transfer from Servette to St. Gallen

According to Blick information, highly rated Swiss midfielder Tiemoko Ouattara, 22, has moved from Super League rival Servette to FC St. Gallen on a loan deal that includes an option to buy. The transfer was completed outside the official window, made possible by a special league regulation concerning locally trained U21 players moving within Switzerland. Ouattara's role at Servette had diminished under new coach Jocelyn Gourvennec, as he played only 95 minutes in five recent matches. A Geneva insider reportedly considers Ouattara to be an exceptionally talented player with the potential to become a key figure in the Swiss league's left corridor, though he is said to currently lack consistency due to slight physical deficits. His move is noted as being part of a larger pattern of promising players leaving Servette over a perceived lack of breakthrough opportunities. Ouattara's contract with Servette runs until June 30, 2029, and his Transfermarkt market value is estimated at €1.00m as of a June 2025 update.
