Vancouver have officially announced that Thomas Müller has extended his contract for one more season.

A Canadian club reports that it has exercised the option in the contract of German forward Müller. Müller left Bayern Munich after the previous season, where his contract was not extended. At the Whitecaps, he signed a contract until the end of this year, with an option for another season.

Thomas Müller, a 36-year-old German forward, will play for another year with the Vancouver Whitecaps, continuing his time in Canada. The former national player confirmed to "Kicker" that he would play a second season in Vancouver, stating he would approach it with full commitment. Müller, who joined the club in August 2025, has been capped 131 times for Germany, scoring 45 goals. His current market value is €6.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
