Maccabi Tel Aviv has approached Go Ahead Eagles to acquire winger Thibo Baeten. The initial proposal from the Israeli club has been rejected by Go Ahead Eagles, but the two clubs remain in discussions regarding a potential transfer. Maccabi's offer was for a loan with a mandatory option to buy. Baeten is reportedly eager to make the move to Israel. The 24-year-old Belgian is under contract in Deventer until mid-2029 and has an estimated market value of 500,000 euros. He joined Go Ahead Eagles in July 2023 and has one cap for the Belgium U21 national team.
