In an interview with Brazilian journalist and YouTuber Cartolouco, Panathinaikos' 25-year-old Brazilian winger Tetê revealed that he received approaches from four Brazilian clubs, including Fluminense, Flamengo, Botafogo, and Cruzeiro, during the recent transfer window. Most of the interested teams reportedly wanted to sign him on a loan deal that included a purchase option. However, Panathinaikos, who have the player under contract until 2028, were not willing to part with him unless a 'crazy' offer was made. Tetê explained that while he would like to return to Brazil at some point to play professionally, as he has not done so before, he is happy in Europe and decided to stay. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €11 million.
