Real Salt Lake has announced the signing of midfielder Taylor Booth on a temporary basis from FC Twente. The club stated the agreement is effective immediately for the final part of the 2026 Major League Soccer season and will extend until the 2027 Sprint Season, with the Utah club retaining an option for a permanent transfer.

The 25-year-old, who also holds Italian nationality, previously played for FC Utrecht and was with the Bayern Munich youth teams. His brother, Zach Booth, also made a move to Real Salt Lake this winter. Booth has two caps for the USA national team, his contract with FC Twente expires on June 30, 2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.00m.
