Manchester United have identified Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemovic as a target to improve their defence and are monitoring him. United have been scouting the 22-year-old Bosnia international regularly and sent representatives to watch him play last Sunday. The club faces competition from Juventus and Inter Milan, who are also considering a move for the defender in January.
