Leeds United have joined other clubs interested in signing 23-year-old Bosnia-Herzegovina international Tarik Muharemović from Sassuolo. Bournemouth and Sunderland also made inquiries about the player in recent weeks. Juventus will have to make a decision on any potential deal because they hold a 50% sell-on clause. Muharemović has 17 caps for his country, joined Sassuolo in July 2025 and his contract runs until 2031. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 32 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. It was reported that Bournemouth made a €35 million offer in June 2026, while Sassuolo's asking price has been cited as high as €40 million.
