According to L’Équipe, Premier League clubs are pursuing Lyon and USMNT midfielder Tanner Tessmann. Lyon are in advanced talks to sign midfielder Himad Abdelli from Angers in January, which would allow Tessmann to leave.

The club has decided to sell Tessmann to help meet financial targets and survive.
