Takehiro Tomiyasu leaving Arsenal?
The Sun reports on Takehiro Tomiyasu's departure from Arsenal after a mutual contract termination agreement. Takehiro Tomiyasu is leaving Arsenal after mutually agreeing to tear up his contract. Despite having another year left on his deal with an option to extend for a further 12 months, he and the club have reached a settlement. His time at Arsenal was plagued by injuries, and he faces another five months of recovery after knee surgery.
Tomiyasu signed a contract extension with Arsenal in March 2024. Despite his dedication and excellent service, Arsenal might consider selling him due to his injury-plagued 2024/25 campaign, which restricted him to just six minutes of play.
Takehiro Tomiyasu may undergo a second knee operation and will be placed on the market next summer.
