Taddeus Nkeng has reached an agreement for a three-year contract with Club Africain, the reigning champion of Tunisia. The 26-year-old Cameroonian attacker, who has been capped at the U23 level for his country, traveled from Douala on Monday to Tunis to undergo his medical examination and sign the contract. According to his agent, Amadou Fontem Tigana, many clubs showed interest after Nkeng's season with Stade Malien, which he joined in August 2025, with teams from Algeria, Egypt, and Tanzania making contact; Algerian side JS Kabylie was among the clubs linked with a move for the player. The agent explained that Club Africain presented a more serious project, more concrete guarantees, and made a better offer, and that negotiations accelerated after the player personally approved the destination. Tigana stated that an agreement has been reached and everything is finalized. He added that only the medical examination remains before Nkeng is presented. Tigana also described the transfer as one of their agency's best in the last two years.
