Szymon Michalski has finalized a permanent move to Warta Poznań from Polonia Bytom. He has agreed to a contract that will last until June 30, 2026, with an option for a 12-month extension. The 21-year-old defender was a regular starter at Polonia Bytom, featuring in 24 matches last season. Michalski has also represented Poland at the U-18 and U-19 levels. Standing at 193 centimeters, he gained additional experience at Skra Częstochowa during a loan spell from his original club, Śląsk Wrocław. This transfer marks him as the seventh summer acquisition for Warta Poznań as they gear up for competition in the II liga following their relegation last season.
