Szymon Karasiński, a 22-year-old product of Zagłębie Lubin's academy, has been loaned out by the club again. He will play the next season for first-league club ŁKS Łódź, which holds an option to purchase him. The loan was prompted by his limited opportunities for consistent first-team play at Zagłębie, where he has made just one senior appearance. Before this, Karasiński was on loan at Ruch Chorzów for two seasons, making 55 appearances. According to Sporting director Radosław Mozyrko, Karasiński's arrival is meant to intensify competition for the left wing-back role, thereby giving the coaching staff greater flexibility in selecting the lineup. Mozyrko also hopes this competition for the position will benefit the player and the entire team.
