Svetoslav Vutsov signed a new contract with Levski yesterday. Negotiations between the two parties had been proceeding for some time, and at one stage, they were close to an agreement before their positions diverged. According to 'Tema Sport', the reason for the divergence was not the salary demanded by the goalkeeper, but the issue of whether to include a release clause in the player's contract. Initially, the management agreed to include such a clause for an amount over one million euros, but they later reconsidered and insisted that no such clause should be included. Ultimately, the goalkeeper and his representatives accepted the conditions set by the club. Vutsov also received a bonus and a salary increase upon extending the contract.
