With one year remaining on his contract with Omonia, the club is unwilling to release him without a transfer fee. Despite rumors suggesting his salary might be an obstacle, Jovetić clarified that his earnings were never a point of negotiation. Currently, the transfer seems unlikely due to his existing contract and his selection in the team of the year.
