Stefanos Tzimas is currently on loan at Nurnberg from Greek side PAOK. Nurnberg has an option to buy him for €18m, which they reportedly intend to trigger to make an immediate profit by selling to Liverpool for around €25m. However, Liverpool's expert James Pearce has stated that Liverpool has no interest in pursuing a deal for Tzimas.

Nurnberg acquired Stefanos Tzimas on loan from PAOK in the summer. Tzimas was already PAOK’s youngest ever goalscorer when he switched Greece for Germany. He scored five goals for Nurnberg in seven appearances, matching his PAOK tally in 23 games fewer.
