Centre-back Stefan Velkov is moving from Vejle to continue his career in the Superliga with Sønderjyske. The 29-year-old Bulgarian, who was a key player during his four seasons at Vejle, has signed a three-year contract. Sønderjyske signed Velkov to reinforce their defence following the departures of Magnus Jensen and Daniel Gretarsson. The transfer fee is over €300,000, but it could increase to €500,000 through various easily achievable bonuses. Velkov has two caps for Bulgaria and his current market value is estimated at €650k by Transfermarkt.
