Stefan Leković Transfer from Crvena Zvezda to Estrela Amadora
Stefan Leković's transfer to Estrela Amadora was agreed as a loan with an option to buy. The Portuguese club has a contract prepared for the 22-year-old Serbian for an additional two seasons, valid until 2028, if they decide to activate the purchase option. It is reported that Crvena zvezda received €250,000 for the loan and could earn another €1 million if the buyout clause is activated in the summer. The move comes after Leković was not a first-choice central defender at Zvezda in recent months, where he made 15 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the Super liga Srbije this season. He previously had loan spells at Villarreal B and Monza in Italy, but neither club exercised their purchase option. The loan to Estrela Amadora, a club in the Primeira Liga known for giving opportunities to young players, provides an opportunity for him to get more significant playing time. Leković, who has 11 caps for Serbia's U21 team, has a contract with Red Star until June 2027 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m.
