Serbian midfielder Stefan Dzodic has joined Almería on a contract running until 2030, after leaving Montpellier as a free agent. Dzodic, who is an under-21 international for Serbia, brings experience from Ligue 1, having participated in numerous matches in France's top football division. Developed through Montpellier's youth academy, Dzodic is recognized for his physical strength, defensive skills, and versatility to also play as a central defender. This transfer represents Almería's fifth signing for the 2025-2026 season, following the acquisitions of Álex Muñoz, Chirino, Luna, and Patrick Soko. The team is preparing to commence pre-season under the guidance of coach Joan Francesc Ferrer 'Rubi', with medical evaluations and initial training sessions scheduled at the UD Almería Stadium.
