Srđan Plavšić Transfer from Raków Częstochowa to Baník Ostrava

Srđan Plavšić has been loaned to Baník Ostrava, a club he previously played for on loan during the 2022/2023 season. The transfer was finalized amid media speculation and required significant effort and negotiations. Plavšić wanted to return to Baník Ostrava, and the club is pleased with his return, expecting him to strengthen their squad. The loan will last for the next twelve months.

Srđan Plavšić is on the verge of being loaned to Baník Ostrava, a move that has been anticipated for several months. Despite being on the roster of Raków Częstochowa, Plavšić was notably absent from the team selected for the Conference League qualifying matches against Maccabi Haifa and Arda Kyrdżali. Kamil Głębocki from Nawylot.tv indicated that the loan transfer is nearing completion and is expected to be finalized shortly. Previously, Plavšić had a stint at Baník Ostrava on loan from Slavia Prague, before transferring to Raków Częstochowa in 2023 for a fee of approximately 400,000 euros. Since joining Raków, he has participated in 35 matches and has scored one goal.

Rumors have been circulating about the potential return of Srđan Plavšić to Baník Ostrava. Nevertheless, the sports director of the Czech club indicated that the chances of this transfer happening are slim. Although Raków Częstochowa aims to sell Plavšić for a transfer fee of 100,000 euros as part of their squad reorganization for the upcoming season, the move to Baník Ostrava seems unlikely. Raków has placed Plavšić on the TransferRoom platform in hopes of finding a buyer who agrees to their price. Plavšić, who joined Raków two years ago and has a contract until June 2026, was originally considered a major acquisition but has faced difficulties in securing playing time since returning from injury, which has intensified the transfer rumors.
