SK Rapid Wien has shown serious interest in signing Soumaïla Diabaté, who is currently on loan at Blau-Weiß Linz until the end of the season. According to Africafoot, Rapid has already placed an offer of 1.3 million Euro with Red Bull Salzburg. Diabaté would be a good addition to the midfield and could serve as a replacement if Mamadou Sangare leaves Rapid in the summer. Diabaté's contract with Salzburg runs until summer 2027.
