Luhansk club Zorya is close to transferring 23-year-old forward Sumalai Bakayoko from Albanian club Egnatia. According to the source, the parties have agreed on the transfer of the player from Côte d'Ivoire for 250,000 euros. Sumalai joined Egnatia before the start of the 2024/25 season. During the season, the forward played 41 matches, scored eight goals, and made six assists. Bakayoko has also played for Swiss club Xamax, as well as local clubs in Côte d'Ivoire and Libya.
