RTV Utrecht and ESPN report that FC Utrecht's 25-year-old Moroccan international, Souffian El Karouani, will be transferred to Al Qadisiya. Initial reports about the left-back's move to Saudi Arabia had previously emerged at the end of April. When questioned by RTV Utrecht, El Karouani stated that he has not confirmed anything himself and that nothing is confirmed yet. He noted that this was the third time the news had come out in this manner and that others on social media had taken the story from the media. Regarding an official announcement, the player said it would happen when the other club is ready.
