According to Africafoot, Souffian El Karouani is close to joining Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia in a transfer worth nearly 23 million dollars. The player, who will be out of contract with FC Utrecht this summer, has reportedly reached an agreement with the Saudi club on most financial aspects. Discussions are currently focused on the contract duration. Al Qadsiah want a five-year deal, while El Karouani and his entourage prefer a three-year contract for flexibility regarding a potential return to Europe. A three-year contract with an option for two additional years is being considered as a solution. The financial terms, which are nearly finalized, include a signing bonus of about 3 million dollars and a net annual salary of around 4 million dollars. The total contract value could exceed 23 million dollars with bonuses. El Karouani is a free agent, and no European club has matched Al Qadsiah's offer for him.
