Sotiris Alexandropoulos, a 22-year-old Greek midfielder, is set to be announced by Standard Liège in the coming hours. After a loan spell at Olympiakos last season, he is now being loaned to the Belgian club, which has secured a purchase option worth €3 million. Alexandropoulos has already undergone medical examinations and is expected to be officially confirmed this week. Sporting CP paid around €4.5 million to acquire him from Panathinaikos.
