Michal Gašparík stated that at the beginning of the current season, 28-year-old Norwegian centre-forward Sondre Liseth was close to leaving the team and was seeking a different arrangement. Liseth approached Gašparík and said that he would always be prepared, regardless of where he plays. Liseth joined Górnik Zabrze in January 2025, and his contract is set to expire in June 2027; his current market value according to Transfermarkt is €700k.
