Mantova's 24-year-old Italian midfielder, Simone Trimboli, is one of the players at his club targeted by other Serie B teams. Following interest from Hellas Verona and Sampdoria, Avellino has also taken action to sign him. According to La Voce di Mantova, the club may be attempting to sign two individuals from Mantova, as they have also targeted coach Francesco Mantova.
