According to padovasport.tv, Siracusa is again pursuing 29-year-old Italian winger Simone Russini, after having previously explored a deal last summer that was not finalized. Russini is currently not on Padova's squad list and is expected to leave the club during the January transfer window. A move would represent a return for the player, who made 19 appearances for Siracusa in the 2018/2019 season. Russini joined Padova in July 2022 and has a contract valid until June 2026. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €200k.
