Tuttomercato reports that Ravenna FC has acquired 24-year-old Italian forward Simone Rabbi from AS Cittadella on a permanent basis, with the player signing a four-year contract. The Serie C club finalised the deal despite interest from several Serie B teams; Empoli had made recent enquiries, while Catanzaro and SudTirol had shown interest in the past. In an official communication, Ravenna described the transfer as a significant and forward-looking investment, consistent with the club's strategy of building a team of young, competitive players for medium to long-term growth. Rabbi joined Cittadella in July 2024 and, according to Transfermarkt, has a current market value of €450k. He has also been capped three times for the Italy U18 team, scoring one goal.
