Simone Pontisso, a 29-year-old Italian central midfielder, has attracted interest from several clubs following a strong season, with Hellas Verona and Benevento having shown concrete interest. His current club is Catanzaro, which he joined in July 2022. The club considers Pontisso a central element of their project and is not willing to let him go. According to La Gazzetta del Sud, Catanzaro would only consider a departure if they received an offer they deemed irresistible.
