Simon Deli Transfer from Asteras Tripolis to Sparta Praha
Gazzetta reported that Simon Deli is expected to depart from Asteras Tripolis as the club is set to accept Sparta Prague's offer for the Ivorian defender. At 33, Deli remains a sought-after player in European leagues. Sparta Prague has made a proposal to sign him. Deli is returning to the Czech Republic, specifically to Prague, but this time to join Sparta Prague, after having previously made a name for himself with Slavia Prague, where he accumulated 144 appearances, scored 3 goals, and provided 7 assists. Notably, Sparta Prague was the club that originally brought Deli to Europe in 2012, although he never played for them as he was consistently loaned out. Now, he has the opportunity to directly contribute to Sparta Prague's ambitions. In the last season, Deli made 32 appearances for Asteras Tripolis, demonstrating his enduring skills as a defender. In light of his departure, Asteras Tripolis is actively looking to reinforce their squad by signing another center-back, in addition to pursuing a left back, a right back, and an attacking midfielder.
