AS Roma is pursuing a permanent transfer for Sunderland's Ivorian winger, Simon Adingra. The 24-year-old is under contract until 2030 and has drawn interest from several clubs following a loan spell at AS Monaco. Roma faces competition from RB Leipzig, which also wants a permanent deal, as well as the English clubs Ipswich and Hull City. West Ham also want to sign Adingra despite their relegation, and the London club has already held discussions with the player. Meanwhile, Monaco is attempting to secure another loan for the winger, a move that may conflict with Sunderland's financial goals. Adingra has 30 caps and 5 goals for Ivory Coast, joined Sunderland from Brighton in July 2025 for a fee of €24 million, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €22 million. In June 2026, reports mentioned a purchase option for Monaco valued at €17 million.
