Sudtirol's 28-year-old Albanian attacker Silvio Merkaj is attracting interest from several Serie B clubs after a season in which he scored nine goals in 36 regular season appearances. The newly promoted Benevento is one of the teams that has targeted the player. Merkaj, who joined Sudtirol in August 2023, has a contract that runs until June 2027 and a current market value of €900k, according to Transfermarkt.
