L'Équipe reports that Eintracht Frankfurt is interested in Sidiki Chérif. The German club, which signed Jean-Matteo Bahoya in January 2024, was courting the player and made an offer at the beginning of the month. The bid was between 19 million and 20 million euros with 5 million euros in bonuses, according to different accounts. The offer was refused.

Angers will not sell him for under 25 million euros and reportedly rejected two past offers: a €23 million bid from Paris FC in January 2026 and one of nearly €20 million from Villarreal in December 2025. Angers coach Alexandre Dujeux acknowledged that their club's economic system is highly dependent on player sales and questioned if they could reject an offer that is almost equal to their annual budget.
