Sergio Peña, a 30-year-old former PAOK midfielder who also holds Spanish citizenship, has a complete agreement to join Sakaryaspor, a club in the Turkish second division where they are currently 18th out of 20 teams. The Alianza Lima midfielder, who joined the club in July 2025 with a contract until the end of 2028, has been offered a 1.5-year contract. The move is a return to European football for the Peruvian international, who has 51 caps and 4 goals for his country. His last club on the continent was PAOK in Greece, where he played after being acquired from Malmö. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
