Schalke 04 submitted an offer for Rapid's 27-year-old French-Ivorian centre-back, Serge-Philippe Raux-Yao. The offer was reportedly a loan deal that included a purchase option of approximately four million euros. The Viennese club is said to have rejected the proposal because they favor a permanent transfer. Schalke remains interested in the player, whose contract is valid until 2028. It is also reported that Lens from France is interested in the player. Raux-Yao joined the Austrian club in July 2024 and made 58 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, scoring one goal.
