According to Piotr Janas from 'Gazeta Wrocławska', Serafin Szota has received permission from Śląsk Wrocław to hold talks with Arka Gdynia. Arka Gdynia has offered Śląsk Wrocław potential bonuses for Szota, but the immediate payment offered is 0 zł. Śląsk Wrocław is not willing to accept these terms, but negotiations are ongoing and the topic will be resumed at the beginning of next week. Serafin Szota's contract is valid until June 30, 2026. The transfer of Ariel Mosór to Arka Gdynia does not exclude the possibility of also signing Serafin Szota, as Dawid Szwarga wants both players.

Kamil Bętkowski from Meczyki.pl reported that Ekstraklasa club Arka Gdynia is in discussions to sign Serafin Szota, a central defender currently with first-division side Śląsk Wrocław. The team from Trójmiasto has shown concrete interest in Szota, and their negotiating position is strengthened because his contract expires at the end of June. This potential transfer is occurring as Arka also seems prepared to bring in another central defender, Ariel Mosór, on loan from Raków Częstochowa this winter. According to Bętkowski, these two potential deals are not mutually exclusive. It is possible both players could reinforce Arka's defense during the winter window.
