According to Média Foot, RC Lens is interested in their former player, Elye Wahi. The club, which has qualified for the Champions League, is considering signing the 23-year-old striker. Elye Wahi is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 30, 2030. The German club does not intend to use his services and prefers a permanent transfer. The Ivorian international was earning 3,770,000 euros per year in Germany and is valued at 12 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Sevilla has also started negotiations to acquire the French striker on loan. His contract with the German club runs until June 2030. Eintracht Frankfurt signed Wahi in January 2025 for a fee reported to be between €26 million and €29 million. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. Wahi has been capped twice for the France U23 national team.
