Lens is interested in re-signing 22-year-old Elye Wahi, who had his best season at the club during the 23-24 campaign. Lens had previously paid €30 million to sign the forward from Montpellier. Wahi is currently with Eintracht Frankfurt, where his performance has reportedly declined and he is featuring infrequently, having made 10 appearances, scored 1 goal, and provided 1 assist in the Bundesliga this season. Sevilla has also started negotiations to acquire the French striker on loan. His contract with the German club runs until June 2030. Eintracht Frankfurt signed Wahi in January 2025 for a fee reported to be between €26 million and €29 million. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. Wahi has been capped twice for the France U23 national team.
