According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, Monza's Semuel Pizzignacco is the leading candidate to become Palermo's backup to Jesse Joronen. The two clubs are working to finalize the last details of the transfer, and there is optimism that a deal can be closed within the week. A three-year contract is ready for Pizzignacco that runs until June 30, 2029, and includes an option for an additional season.
