According to BILD information, the transfer of German-Bosnian striker Semir Telalović, 26, to third-division club Rot-Weiss Essen is nearing completion. The striker was absent from FCN training on Friday to complete his medical check. The deal will be a one-season loan, as reported by BILD. Telalović's contract with the 'Club' is valid until 2028. The forward had joined FCN a year ago from SSV Ulm for a €300,000 fee via a release clause but was unable to secure a regular position under coach Miroslav Klose. He spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Bielefeld, but the club chose not to exercise their €850,000 purchase option. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €600,000.
