Kolorcity Kazincbarcika SC officially announced on a Friday afternoon the signing of Semir Smajlagic, a 27-year-old Bosnian youth international forward. Smajlagic arrives as a free agent and most recently played for Hamrun Spartans in Malta. He has previously been with clubs such as FK Sarajevo, the Slovenian side Gorica, and FC Astana. He has represented Bosnia-Hercegovina at the U17 and U19 levels. Smajlagic stated that he is happy to have joined and is aware that the primary goal is to stay in the league, adding that he will wear the number nine shirt. He is the club's second winter acquisition. According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value is estimated at €250k.
