Terry Westley, FC Kassa's sporting director, stated on the club website that Kósa has already passed his medical examinations and will join the team's preparations. Westley described Kósa as a young center-back with experience in domestic leagues and the Conference League, and emphasized the cooperation between the clubs during negotiations. Kósa himself stated that he actively sought the club change due to limited playing opportunities in Spain and expressed his belief that the move will benefit both parties. His move follows a period at Real Zaragoza where he made 0 appearances in LaLiga2 during the 2025/2026 season.
