Mikael Stahre stated in Bollklubbens deadline day-sändning that Sead Haksabanovic was being sold to a Saudi club. Stahre also said that he knows at least that there is interest. Sead Haksabanovic appeared surprised when hearing of the rumour and said that as far as he knew at that moment, he would stay and his intention was to be there. He added that he would listen if something very interesting came up. Haksabanovic said that he and his agent have an arrangement where he does not want to hear about it if there is only interest, but his agent would call him if it were something more concrete. Haksabanovic also said that the Saudi league is attractive due to financial security and its recent developments.

An unnamed South Korean club is showing an interest in and has made a bid for 26-year-old Montenegro international winger Sead Haksabanovic. It is claimed that a lucrative offer has been put to the player, and he is now weighing up his next move. Haksabanovic joined his current club, Malmö FF, in July 2024 and has a contract until June 2028. He has earned 33 caps for Montenegro and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m.
