Sven Mislintat, the new manager of 2. Liga club Fortuna Düsseldorf, has made his first signing after previously announcing winter reinforcements. The signing is 23-year-old Japanese defensive midfielder Satoshi Tanaka, who will be joining from Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club he joined in January 2025. The Japanese international has one cap and a current market value of €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
