Santino Andino Transfer from Godoy Cruz to Como
Santino Andino prefers to play in Europe, and Como, Napoli, and Olympiacos are mentioned as clubs interested in the 20-year-old Argentine-Italian winger. His current club, Godoy Cruz, which has been relegated, is open to selling him as the player has one year remaining on his contract. In Argentina, River Plate has submitted an offer. Some local media outlets claim an agreement is in place for $5 million for 80% of the player's rights, while others maintain that Godoy Cruz continues to ask for $10 million. Andino is pushing to leave Argentina and, according to reports from Buenos Aires, has received an ultimatum from River Plate to respond to their proposal. Interest from Palmeiras and Atlético Mineiro of Brazil has also been reported. Andino has played 14 matches and scored 2 goals for the Argentina U-20 team and has a current market value of €5 million, according to Transfermarkt. The European interest is not new; in the summer of 2025, Olympiacos reportedly offered €7.5 million for 80% of his rights before the deal collapsed. In July 2025, a $20 million release clause was mentioned, although it was noted to be negotiable.
